Warhammer - 40K Beginner Learn to Play - April 4, 2026 - Ann Arbor

Registration: You must register to play at https://www.theupkeepgames.com/. Players will be added to Best Coast Pairings within 24 hours.
Registration will be capped at 36 players.

Event Deadlines: No new Combat Patrols released after March 20th will be allowed. We will use the latest FAQs available.


Format: For this event we will be using the 10th edition core rules. Armies for the event will be Combat Patrol armies following the officially release lists by Games Workshop. Each round will be 1.5 hours long. There will be a one-hour lunch break after round 1. Rounds will be Standard Swiss format. Tournament placing will be determined by Win/Loss record, then battle points.

Painting and Models: Your army does not need to be painted but WYSIWYG is encouraged for this event. Proxies or count-as models are allowed but must clearly represent the model they are proxying to your opponent. Please contact the TO ahead of the event if you are unsure or have any questions if your model can be used.

Prizes:
Prizes will be given for first, second, and third place as well as best painted as voted on by the other players at the event. Total amounts of each prize will depend on number of participants and will be received as store credit.
